Tank 300 now available with diesel

GWM is expanding the Tank 300 lineup with the introduction of a new turbo-diesel variant.

Designed to deliver improved efficiency and even better off-road performance, the diesel-powered Tank 300 will be available in two well-appointed grades – Lux and Ultra.

At its core, the new Tank 300 diesel is powered by GWM’s robust 2.4-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine, delivering 135kW of power at 3600 rpm and a hefty 480Nm of torque from 1500 to 2500 rpm.

Paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, this powertrain promises claimed fuel consumption of 7.8L/100km, delivering an optimal balance of power and efficiency.

With its new powertrain, the Tank 300 diesel now offers an increased braked towing capacity of 3000kg — up from 2500kg for petrol- and hybrid variants.

The Lux variant, priced at $47,990 driveaway, delivers an appealing blend of comfort and technology, while the range-topping Ultra, priced at $51,990 driveaway, adds premium features and advanced technology.

Vehicle specifications are aligned to the hybrid variant including telematics and connected car capability.

Backed by GWM’s Customer Care Warranty and Capped Price Servicing, the Tank 300 diesel includes a 7-year/unlimited kilometre warranty, 7-year roadside assistance with 24/7 support, and 7-year capped price servicing — all backed by GWM’s extensive network of 113 dealerships nationwide.

Customers who order a Tank 300 diesel in March 2025 will receive three years of complimentary scheduled servicing.
