Shot in the arm for Skoda Octavia SportLine

Skoda's Octavia is better value than ever with the introduction of the new SportLine.

SportLine costs the same price as the existing Octavia Style, but comes with many extras that enhance the design and dynamic appeal of the Liftback and Wagon.

Priced from $42,490 driveaway for the Liftback and or $43,990 driveaway for the Wagon, the pair offers 15 exterior, interior and chassis extras.

On the outside SportLine is distinguished by a gloss-black front grille, mirrors, badges, rear spoiler (Liftback only) or roof rails (Wagon only).

There's also a rear diffuser, front spoiler, matte-black window surrounds, dual exhaust tips and front guard SportLine badging.

Inside SportLine adds a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel with paddles, sports comfort front seats with integrated head rests, aluminium pedals and black roof lining/pillar trim.

A new drive mode selector enables a choice of Eco, Normal and Sport modes.

The additional Sport mode focuses on enhancing the responses of the steering, 110kW/250Nm 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.

It also complements the 15mm lower sports suspension which is standard on both.

Both the Octavia Style and SportLine feature 18-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights with adaptive high-beam, front and rear parking sensors, Park Assist, Side Assist, Rear Traffic Alert, Lane Assist.

There's also Adaptive Cruise Control, heated exterior mirrors with driver auto dimming, power tailgate, keyless entry and start, dual-zone climate control, 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit, and 10-inch screen with satellite navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.

Octavia is covered by a seven-year, unlimited kilometre warranty with seven-year capped-price servicing available for $2800.
